About the Collective

The Reformed Collective exists to glorify God, equip His Church, and foster confessional unity by providing distinct perspectives from a Reformed point of view.


Jason Hinrichs

Co-Founder and Editor

Jason is a student, member of The Village Church – Fort Worth, and Head of Media at a non-profit Christian organization in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Jason also regularly contributes to several libertarian-based sites such as Liberty Viral and others.

Josh Sommer

Co-Founder and Editor

Josh co-founded Grace Bible Church’s evangelism ministry in San Diego, CA, and is currently a member of Word of Life Baptist Church in Kansas City, MO. He is currently pursuing a B.A. and Master of Divinity at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.


David Appelt

Social Media Manager

David serves as our Social Media Manager. He is the Creative Arts Director at NewLife Community Church in Canal Winchester, Ohio and graduated from Capital University with an emphasis on Music Ministry.

Dustin Ranem

Site Administrator & Digital Marketer

Dustin serves as our digital marketer and administrator through 110 Marketing. He works as a Digital Marketing Specialist in the electrical distribution industry and as Senior Managing Editor of New City Times.

Taylor DeSoto

Head Editor

Taylor is a member of Faith Reformed Baptist Church outside of Philadelphia. He graduated with his bachelor’s of science in interdisciplinary studies and works as an accounting systems analyst.

Andrew Kennedy


Andrew is a veterinarian technician and is currently finishing his Doctorate of Musical Arts in trumpet performance at The University of Southern Mississippi. He is married to Keisha, his wife of seven years.

Jared Parks


Jared is a deacon at Front Street Baptist Church in Statesville, NC, where he also serves in the youth ministry. He has been married to his wife Hannah for three years, and he works in Information Technology in the healthcare field.

Chase Tremaine


Chase resides in Tennessee, working as a program manager for ISTS, Inc. and as a songwriter for the Ours By Accident Song Shop. He received a bachelor’s in English from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Darin Wilt


Darin is a pastor and Air Force veteran currently working on his PhD from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married, has three children, and enjoys running, hiking, and fishing.
